It makes us silence our voice, and freezes us in place. When we are in the grip of shame, we feel desperate, afraid, and rejected.
Shame can take the form of:
Shame about authentic desires.
Shame of not knowing, or not knowing how.
Shame of showing or being who you really are.
When we are in the grip of shame we may feel like we are constantly performing for others. To break away from the mask we use for self-protection feels terrifying, and so we continue to live behind the mask, while feeling like we are slowing withering away inside.
Shame is a common deeply-rooted issue for sensitive intuitive people, with many of us internalizing the shame as a belief that we were born defective and are doomed to live as broken people.
In this workshop, we will be learning how to heal our deepest shame wounds and move into our true power as authentic human beings.
We’ll be covering many topics in this workshop, including how to:
Let go of feeling shame around others.
Let go of performing according to other people’s ideas of who we should be.
Let go of playing small and staying invisible.
Embrace who we truly are, without shame.
