Neurodivergence” has become a buzz word in recent years, especially in the INF community. Many INFJs and INFPs have realized that they strongly identity with traits of ASD, ADHD, or AuDHD, or have been diagnosed ASD, ADHD, or AuDHD. Many INFJs and INFPs have also realized that they are gifted adults, which may overlap with or contribute to their neurodivergence.

In many conversations about neurodivergence, emphasis tends to drift to diagnosis and labeling, and many INF people can get stuck here, trying to figure out what they are and what that means. In this class, we’ll be moving outside of diagnosis and labeling, taking a much broader view of the topic as we learn how to move into acceptance with ourselves, whatever we may be.

This class will primarily focus on the trauma INF people have gone through as children and young adults as a result of being neurodivergent, and how that trauma has shaped our beliefs about ourselves and what we are capable of in the world. We will also be focusing on shifting our perception of ourselves so that we can clearly see our gifts in the present. Finally, we’ll be exploring ways to activate our human potential as neurodivergent people in a way that helps us find the direction of our life’s work.
